Just your typical Episcopal congregation

Got this catalog from Church Publishing. Pictured is your typical TEC congregation - young, multi-ethnic and with small children. Yeah. That's been my experience. It created quite a bit of laughter around the breakfast table.

One of the unexpected joys on embracing the Catholic faith, in addition to the full pews, was discovering so many people in the pews were "young, multi-ethnic and with small children;" gratifying compensation for the all-too-frequent liturgical and musical deficiencies found in Holy Church these days.

Wow! I am flattered that you read my blog. True, the Roman Catholic parish down the street from us is packed every Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning and feast day. And the congregation is fairly diverse. But I just can not wrap my heart, brain and soul around certain aspects of RC theology.
